A Director in the PwC Sustainability Services practice since 2010, Cope helps clients identify sustainability issues material to their businesses, evaluate the value at stake, and develop strategies to address their sustainability risks and opportunities.

Cope has over twelve years of experience advising clients in consumer goods, food and beverage manufacturing and agribusiness. Cope's expertise includes sustainable agriculture and sourcing, food value chain risk management, and strategies for enhancing supply chain transparency. Recent client engagement examples include:

  • Developing a responsible supply chain program to help a $110 billion agricultural services company better anticipate and manage sustainability risk across their global supply chains and 50+ business units.
  • Advising a $30 billion consumer goods company on revenue growth opportunities through sustainable product offering.
  • Advising a consumer goods industry association on leading practices and technology solutions for supply chain transparency and traceability.

Cope is co-author of “Resilience: Sustaining the supply chain” and “Green products: Using sustainable attributes to drive growth and value” published by PwC and “Green Products: Applying ROI discipline to targeting business opportunities” published by the Grocery Manufacturers Association and PwC.

A LEED Accredited Professional, Cope received a Doctorate in Earth Science from the University of California Santa Cruz and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia.
