PwC US, Partner on Secondment; Head of US-IL Tech Desk
Until September 2025, Tamir was the Head of Hi-Tech Assurance Cluster at PwC Israel and now manages the Israeli Tech desk in the US.
Tamir Joined the firm in 2000 and has vast experience in managing and leading assurance engagements with private and public companies from thetechnology, retail, production and medical equipment industries. He is also very experienced in supporting startups from inception to maturity and hasvast expertise with US GAAP.
Between 2009-2010, Tamir led a major international advisory projects, serving as PMO, and worked closely with the US firm. Between 2010-2013,Tamir worked at the PwC New York technology audit group. As part of his work for the Israel and US firms, he gained rich experience in a broad arrayof engagements including IPOs and capital raising, compliance with PCAOB rules, M&As, SOX and SEC compliance.
Between 2014-2018, Tamir has been one of the partners who lead the “IPO Readiness” and “Fit for Growth” services within the firm and built a strongexperience of structuring such processes specifically to the clients needs and key business milestones.
Between 2019-2022 Tamir led and took a significant role in several large IPOs in the US.
Tamir serves as the Israeli high-tech foot on the ground bringing the full PwC experience to the Israeli Tech founders and executives includingconnecting the ecosystem for both Israeli and US PwC firms.
Tamir leads as well the Firm’s Audit Methodology team.
Tamir holds a BA in Business Administration and Accounting awarded by the College of Management Academic Studies in Rishon LeZion, Israel andis a Certified Public Accountant in Israel.
