PwC Armenia and the Corporate Governance Center have signed a memorandum of understanding
As environmental, social and governance (ESG) expectations continue to rise, so do the opportunities for investment, innovation and growth. In this context, PwC Armenia and the Corporate Governance Center (CGC) have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on strengthening the concept of sustainable development in the Armenian business community. Particular focus will be on environmental protection, social security and good governance. PwC Armenia and CGC will conduct public opinion research, assess public needs, initiate legislative changes, and develop and implement programmes that contribute to resolving ESG issues.
The memorandum of understanding is the continuation of the successful collaboration between PwC Armenia and CGC under the Corporate Financial Reporting project funded by the UK Good Governance Fund (GGF). Under this project, Armenia’s Corporate Governance Code was revised in line with the G20/OECD Principles of Corporate Governance.
