Shalom joined the Israeli firm in 2002. As part of his job, he performs valuations of companies and intangible assets for commercial purposes (M&A) as well as due diligence reviews, supporting clients in transactions (including LBOs) and investment decisions, pricing of debt instruments and financial derivatives, impairment tests in accordance with international and American accounting standards, etc.

For several years Shalom has served as a senior manager in the valuation advisory group of PwC UK. During his secondment in London, he specialized in valuation analyses and financial advisory services provided to international financial institutions (AXA, Lloyds, Barclays, and others); he also participated in the valuation analyses and due diligence reviews carried out in connection with the liquidation of Lehman Brothers assets.

Shalom has a Bachelor's degree with honors in Accounting and Economics and a Master's degree with honors in Economics, both awarded by the Tel-Aviv University.
Shalom is qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in Israel.
