Abdool Lakha

Abdool Lakha is a Partner in the Assurance department at PwC Mozambique, having joined PwC in 2000 and currently based in Maputo.

He is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the United Kingdom and holds a Masters in Professional Accountancy from University College London. He is also a member of the Ordem dos Contabilistas e Auditores de Moçambique, in both the College of Auditors and the College of Accountants.

With over 25 years of experience, he has coordinated audit work for large groups involving several offices within the PwC network. He has extensive knowledge of consolidation and financial reporting in accordance with national standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). In addition to standard audit work, he has performed other types of work, such as account conversions to new standards (PGC-NIRF), internal control, tax review, due diligence, and training.

He has extensive and relevant experience in financial auditing, both in local and international companies, in various sectors of activity: commercial, industrial, energy and mining, oil and gas, transport and logistics, agriculture and forestry, services, public companies as well as non-profit organizations.
