Netta Avrahamov Bitan joined PwC Israel as a partner at the beginning of 2019, and she serves as our Banking Sector Leader.
Netta has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry in Israel.
Prior to joining PwC Israel, she served as Chief Risk Officer of Union Bank and Chief Accountant of both Union Bank and Ubank.

Netta has deep knowledge and practical daily experience with the accounting principles and directives of the Bank of Israel in various banking fields. She was also responsible for the Economics Department including the Bank’s budget and capital planning. In addition, she served as a director of the Bank’s subsidiaries and as the chairperson of the Bank’s issuance Company.

As the CRO of the bank, she acquired extensive knowledge in all the risk areas of the business: credit risks, liquidity and market risks, compliance risks, operational risks, cyber and IT risks.

Her experience in the banking industry along with her knowledge of accounting and risk management gives a unique benefit to her role.

Netta holds a BA in Business Administration and Accounting from College of Management.

Netta is a Certified Public Accountant in Israel and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel and its liaison committee with the Supervisor of Banks in the Bank of Israel.
