Andy is the Global Assurance Leader and UK Head of Audit, responsible for setting and delivering the Global Assurance and UK firm’s audit strategies, across financial and non-financial assurance.
With over 30 years of experience, Andy has built his career at PwC since joining in 1995 and becoming a partner in 2009. He has held a range of senior leadership positions, including UK Audit Regional Market Leader and other key roles within the UK firm’s Central Audit practice. After a number of years on the UK Audit Executive, he was appointed as the UK Head of Audit in July 2024, at which point he also joined the UK Executive Committee and Global Assurance Leadership team.
Andy has a great breadth of experience, having worked with both private businesses and large multinational listed groups throughout his career. He specialises in the industrial manufacturing, pharmaceutical, defence, and hospitality & leisure sectors and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
Outside of PwC, Andy is passionate about supporting the arts in his community. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre, where he chairs the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee.
