On 1 July, the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent BEPS (“MLI”) will come into effect for the first group of signatories.

This will be a milestone in the course of the implementation of the BEPS Action Plan and require all cross-border businesses to closely follow and assess the potential impact in jurisdictions where they operate.
