Richard Poccia is the Managing Partner for PwC’s New York Metro Region Private Company Services Practice. Rich has served clients ranging from early stage companies to large multinationals. His experience spans a wide range of industries—from professional services organizations to technology, entertainment, defense, distribution and manufacturing organizations. Rich spends a majority of his time addressing practice issues, while still dedicating his time to client service in his capacity as Senior Relationship Partner and Engagement Leader.
Rich is a member of the New York Metro Market Team Council. He was also a member of the National Office, and the former leader of PwC's New York Metro Technology, Infocomm and Entertainment Practice. These leadership roles have given him the unique experience of understanding issues and opportunities that PwC faces in providing professional services to clients, such as attrition and attraction of talent, acceptance and risk management, etc.
Rich, a graduate of Manhattan College, is a Certified Public Accountant in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of New York.
