DES MOINES, June 5, 2012 -- PwC US today announced that the firm has committed to its future in downtown Des Moines by signing a five-year lease in the HUB Tower building located at 699 Walnut Street. Des Moines-based PwC professionals will make their move into the new facility in early June.
"PwC is committed to providing quality services to Iowa's established and emerging companies across a broad range of industries," said Tessie Johnson, managing partner of the Des Moines office. "We're excited to bring the power of our extensive global network of firms and resources to the larger Iowa marketplace."
In talking about the new workspace, Johnson noted that PwC's business and culture are based on building relationships, delivering value and quality service to its clients. She said HUB Tower fits that bill for both clients and our people, as it resides at the heart of Des Moines' central business district.
Johnson expects the PwC Des Moines office will also be active in the local community. "We're focused on being active corporate citizens in Des Moines, both as an organization and each of us individually," said Johnson. "The people of PwC Des Moines embrace the firm's corporate responsibility strategy to support youth education to increase proficiency in financial literacy, which better prepares students to make responsible financial decisions and contribute to a healthier US economy."
