Our client, a global pharma company, was facing an FCPA regulatory response and mass tort litigation that spanned across multiple areas. Our client was seeking cost controls while meeting their regulatory obligations, and wanted critical insight as quickly as possible. PwC was asked to work with multiple law firms to provide eDiscovery program management support for the company’s global practices across the Americas, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Europe.
Each region required specific data privacy considerations and global logistical coordination. Our global teams supported review efforts and managed the entire production process for external counsel. Document review was provided by our trusted providers, ensuring all quality checks on the data provided to the various regulatory and governmental bodies had been completed.

PwC amassed all sources of electronically stored information (ESI) for over 200 custodians across the globe, totaling over 20TB of data, and processed, filtered and hosted all 43M documents for attorney review. We helped the client address regulators’ inquiries quickly. Our complete end-to-end solution enabled the client to limit investigative costs while ensuring consistency and quality of productions across all matters.
