Timothy Anson is a partner in PwC’s US International Tax practice. In these roles, he advises large multinational corporations on international tax issues arising in complex transactions. Tim also represents clients before the IRS, the US Treasury and the Congressional tax-writing committees.
Tim joined the legacy firm Price Waterhouse in 1982. Throughout his career, he has advised clients on a wide range of international tax matters—including structuring overseas investments, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, application of anti-deferral rules and foreign tax credit planning. He has extensive experience in the use of contract manufacturing and commissionaire structures, holding and finance companies and other tax-efficient structures. Tim speaks and writes frequently on a broad range of international tax issues. He earned his B.S. in accounting from Central Michigan University and is a CPA in Michigan and Washington D.C.
