Scott, a New York based partner, focuses on the automation and digitization of compliance and operations controls for financial services firms. Scott and his team’s deep technology skills have been leveraged to assist some of the largest financial services firms in the world in improving, through technology, their control environments. Scott also serves as PwC’s global Financial Services Compliance Transformation leader, responsible for ensuring that PwC practitioners across the PwC network are leveraging the firm’s capabilities to help transform compliance risk management functions.

Scott has served the financial services industry his entire career, spanning 25 years with PwC after starting his career in industry working for a large bank and, subsequently, a software company focused on the financial services industry. Over the course of his career, he has held roles working directly for financial services companies either in a management role, as a management/IT consultant, or as an audit partner providing control effectiveness assurance services. Scott’s specific areas of expertise include bank compliance functions, fund and investor services operations and controls, commercial real estate operations, and community banking. Scott has also led some of the firm’s largest Risk Assurance teams, serving as the Northeast and New York leader during his career.

Scott is active in serving the local community, most specifically in delivering financial literacy education to inner city youth as part of PwC’s “Access Your Potential” program. He is also actively involved in providing his technology skills to other non-profit organizations.

Scott holds a BA in Economics from Penn State University, is a CPA (CT, NY, MA), and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
