Scott, a New York based partner, leads PwC's Financial Services Third-Party Assurance practice.  This practice provides independent assurance over controls and other non-financial metrics for some of the world’s largest and most important financial services firms.  Over his career, Scott’s work has addressed a wide range of internal control, technology risk- and operational risk-related issues. He specializes in SOC 1, 2 and 3, and AT 101 reporting and other third party assurance and internal controls reporting, including regulatory compliance (e.g., chief compliance officer controls reporting) and transfer agent reports. Scott also leads our New York Financial Services Risk Assurance practice, a team made up of over 200 professionals serving the controls attestation and design needs of some of the firm’s largest financial services clients.

Scott has served the financial services industry his entire career, spanning 20 years with PwC and another 11 years in the financial services industry. Over the course of his career, he has held roles working directly for financial services companies either in a management role, as a management/IT consultant, or as a risk assurance partner providing control effectiveness assurance services.

Prior to his role in Third Party Assurance, Scott's earlier years with the firm were as part of our Advisory technology practice, focused on creating and implementing information technology consulting for the asset management industry.  Scott's specific technology areas of expertise include enterprise data warehousing, business intelligence and mobile application development.

Scott’s representative clients including J.P. Morgan Chase, Point 72 (SAC), Affiliated Managers Group, Brown Brothers Harriman, Morgan Stanley and Fidelity Investments.

Scott is active in serving the local community, most specifically in delivering financial literacy education to inner city youth as the New York City leader of PwC’s “Earn Your Future” program. He also serves as a board member and coach for his local little league baseball organization.

Scott is married and the father of three children.

Scott holds a BA in Economics from Penn State University, is a CPA (CT, NY, MA), and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
