Summary of experience
Scott Adams is the Global Computers and Networking Leader and is responsible for connecting our global network, sharing leading practices and bringing leading edge thinking to our clients in this industry. Scott has over 23 years of experience including 13 years as a partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Assurance Practice serving public companies in a variety of industries. He has developed an extensive network of relationships with our client service professionals across the Firm’s service lines, industry groups, and offices in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Scott works closely with leading companies in the technology arena including the software industry. His clients have ranged from large scale tech companies to venture backed software companies, and many in between. Additionally, he has extensive experience assisting clients in many other settings including business transformation; ERP system implementations; internal controls; governance and contract management, among others.
Scott serves or has served the largest global technology industry companies. He has assisted in the software and internet industries with two successful IPOs. He also advises large global private equity firms and has led many engagement teams for NYSE and NASDAQ-listed companies. In addition, Scott serves or has served as quality review partner for some of our largest and most complex clients in the Technology and Entertainment & Media industries.
Scott has significant involvement in the Firm's client relationship, audit quality and people development programs through which he has built extensive local, national and global relationships to assist our clients and our people, some of which include: US TICE & Health Industries Assurance Quality Leader 2009, and US Assurance Partner Admissions Committee 2004-2008 (Chair, Business Unit Committee 2006-07).
