Director, PwC US
Robert is a tax director at PwC’s Dutch desk in New York representing the US Tax Group of PwC Netherlands. In his role, Robert is involved in cross-border tax planning, due diligence, deal structuring for U.S. multi-nationals, private equity funds and Dutch multinationals.
Robert’s expertise includes overall Dutch and international tax structuring, debt structuring, withholding tax planning, transaction taxes, partnership planning, mergers and splits, negotiating rulings, tax due diligence reviews, refinancing transactions, EU & OECD tax developments and IP planning in various industries.
Prior to beginning his work in New York, Robert served multinational clients, both Dutch and foreign based, from the Amsterdam office.
Robert obtained his tax economics degree from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands and is a member of the Bar of Dutch Tax Advisors (NOB). In addition, Robert is an external instructor for the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation.
