Mark is a tax partner in the Houston, Texas office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Mark has 24 years of experience with the Firm, serving a broad base of public and private clients in the manufacturing, retail, and energy industries. Mark has extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions, executive compensation issues, consolidated return issues and FAS 109.
From 2005—2014, Mark served as the Houston tax market leader for the Private Company Services practice. In this role, Mark worked with a number of private equity firms and their portfolio companies. Mark has extensive experience with the issues surrounding private equity, including structuring, compensation, and exit strategies. In 2014, Mark assumed the role of tax market leader for the Greater Houston market, encompassing Houston, Oklahoma and New Orleans.
Mark worked in the Birmingham, Alabama office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for ten years prior to transferring to the Houston office in 2002. Mark is a former board member and officer of Avondale House, a school serving children and adults with autism. Mark is still active in this charity.
Mark graduated from the University of Alabama in 1990 with a B.S. in Accounting and received a Master's in Taxation in 1991.
