Margaret is Private Company Services (PCS) East Region Leader and an assurance partner in the firm’s Spartanburg, SC office. In this role, she oversees PCS’s East Region comprised of a dedicated team of over 590 staff and 52 partners focused on delivering audit, tax, advisory and personal financial services to privately-held and family owned companies with domestic and international operations.

Margaret is also the PCS Market team leader for the Carolinas. In this capacity she is responsible for overall audit engagement activities and client satisfaction as well as executive and board communications and coordination. She is also signing partner for consolidated audit opinions and other stand-alone or statutory audit opinions and has final decision-making authority on all technical matters.

With over 20 years in public accounting serving both public and private companies, her experience includes assisting clients with core attest services, private placements, SEC filings and mergers & acquisitions primarily in the manufacturing, automotive, services, and retail and consumer industries.

Prior to joining PwC as an associate, she worked at Sonoco in internal audit and financial reporting.

Margaret received a B.S. degree in Accounting from Wofford College. Margaret also works or has worked with a number of civic organizations including serving as a board member of the Piedmont Area Girl Scouts, the Red Cross, the SC Association of CPAs, the Mary Black Foundation, the United Way of the Piedmont and the Terrier Club. In addition, she is a member of the AICPA and the South Carolina Association of CPAs.
