Lisa LaMotta is the Editor-in-Chief of PwC's Risk & Regulatory platform, covering the ever-shifting policy environment and its impact on the business community.
Prior to joining the firm, she spent 13 years as a journalist covering the business and regulation of pharmaceutical and biotech companies for publications like Forbes, The Pink Sheet, Scrip and BioPharma Dive.
She reported on some of the largest mergers and deals in the history of the pharmaceutical industry, as well as the business dynamics of bringing a drug from proof-of-concept to market. LaMotta developed a guide for entrepreneurs looking to succeed at starting a biotech, with a focus on raising capital, creating an IP portfolio and building a board of directors.
LaMotta is a graduate of Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
