Senior Manager, Health Research Institute, PwC US
Jason Ranville is a senior manager with PwC's Health Research Institute (HRI) where he focuses on the effects of legislative and regulatory policies on health care payers and providers. He was previously a member of the firm's Analytic Insights group focusing on health services and risk assurance.
Prior to PwC, Jason was a registered lobbyist representing patient interests at the state and federal levels. He led advocacy initiatives around patient access to care, federal research funding, drug development and discovery, and insurance coverage for rare diseases. He began his professional career as a mental health therapist.
Jason holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Western Michigan University, a master's degree in counseling and mental health therapy from Michigan State University, and a second master's in health policy and administration from Penn State University. He has officially ruled out getting any additional degrees.
