Ignacio is a Director on our Argentine tax desk in New York where he specializes in international tax and tax structuring matters with particular focus on oil & gas, financial, industrial and commercial multinational companies.
Ignacio joined PwC Argentina in 1996. Prior to joining the firm, he was a member of the Argentine Tax Authorities - Dirección de Auditoría Fiscal, dependiente de la Administración Federal de Ingresos Públicos – Dirección General Impositiva - from 1994 through 1996.
Ignacio has participated in local and international training courses conducted by the IFA in Argentina (Asociación Argentina de Estudios Fiscales) and by PwC Argentina relating to audit and international tax matters. In addition, Ignacio is a frequent instructor for in-house and external courses organized by the firm, including PwC Uruguay's Latin American International Tax Symposium and PwC Mexico's Latin American Tax Symposium. He participates as expositor at seminars organized by Consejo Profesional de Ciencias Económicas de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Secretaría de Medio Ambiente y Desarrollo Sustentable de la República Argentina y la Asociación de Bancos de la República Argentina (ABA), among others.
Ignacio's written credits include collaborating on the Doing Business guide issued by the World Bank since 2005 and contributing to the International Tax Review edited by Euromoney since 2006. Ignacio graduated from the Argentine Catholic University and is a public accountant.
