Carlos is an International Tax Partner on secondment from the Madrid office of PwC Spain. He joined PwC in 1998 and prior to his secondment to the US he has worked in Spain and Luxembourg advising Spanish and foreign MNCs in the design and implementation of business-aligned, tax-efficient structures into and out of Spain, including several Value Chain Transformation projects.
In addition to his knowledge of Spanish domestic and cross-border taxation, Carlos has a strong focus on EU Law and is a member of PwC's EU Direct Tax Group and the State Aid Working Group.
Carlos has obtained degrees in Business Administration and Law from ICADE (Madrid) and is admitted to the Madrid Bar. He is a frequent speaker at tax seminars and conferences and contributes regularly to business journals and international tax reviews.
