Summary of experience
Brian is in the Assurance practice where he has served in four offices spanning two continents, including US and foreign practice offices and the US National Office.
Throughout his career, Brian has led clients and teams through complex, challenging issues and has consistently demonstrated change agility by undertaking new challenges, outside his comfort zone, and executing consistently and effectively. He is part of the Firm’s Technology Practice.
Prior to his current role in the Firm’s National Office, Brian spent three years on tour in Helsinki, Finland as a global audit senior manager, where he significantly expanded his global network of XLOS partners and senior managers as well as his ability to manage internationally diverse teams.
After starting his career in Chicago, Brian spent six years in the San Diego office, demonstrating his skills in managing through complex client situations by turning challenges into opportunities to deliver the firm.
Brian is a proud alum of the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Accounting. He is a licensed CPA in Illinois, California and New Jersey.

What is your favorite way to spend free time?
Being active and outdoors with my wife and two kids (ages 6 and 4).
What is one of your goals yet to be achieved?
After crossing a marathon off that list several years ago, I have my sights set on a half ironman.
If you could have dinner with anyone-who would it be and why?
I would love to have dinner with my grandfather. He passed away when I was a teenager and never really appreciated the perspective and advice that he could provide me based on all his experience in business and in life. I wish I could pick his brain now!
What’s on your current reading list?
I read every night – generally Dr. Seuss and other children’s books!
