Amparo is a partner with PwC’s Tax practice and serves as the transfer pricing leader for the Carolinas.
Amparo has more than 17 years of experience working in the transfer pricing area.
She advises multinational companies on matters related to determining, evaluating, and documenting intercompany pricing arrangements. She manages the transfer pricing documentation process for large companies, managing global teams and establishing that high-quality service is delivered in all countries.
Amparo has managed large international realignment projects, aligning transfer pricing policies, and economic substance to achieve global tax planning objectives.
She has experience in migrating intangible property, creating principal structure and pricing of financing transactions, negotiating advance pricing agreements, and participating in competent authority negotiations and transfer pricing audits.
She has conducted documentation studies for large multinational companies and has also worked for a number of industrial and chemical products companies.
Amparo has an MBA from Georgetown University and a BA in economics from the University of Uruguay.
