Senior, PwC Netherlands
Alwine is a Senior Associate at the Dutch Desk of PwC New York, representing the US Tax Group of PwC the Netherlands. In this role, she is involved in cross-border tax planning/structuring for U.S. and Dutch multinational enterprises as well as private equity funds. Prior to her work at the New York office, Alwine served multinational clients, both Dutch and foreign based, from the PwC Amsterdam office.
Alwine's expertise includes overall Dutch and international tax structuring, debt structuring, withholding tax planning, transaction taxes, partnership planning, mergers, acquisitions and spin-offs, negotiating tax rulings, (re)financing transactions and IP/Principal structuring in various industries. Furthermore, Alwine has an in-depth understanding of the recent changes in the international tax environment such as BEPS, the Multilateral Instrument and ATAD I&II.
Alwine holds a bachelor's and a master’s degree in tax law from the University of Groningen (the Netherlands) and completed a number of intensive courses in the field of US (international) taxation.
