Q: How did you gain so much responsibility so early as an associate?
A: After working on several different projects during my first three months, I earned the trust of my directors and managers who gave me the opportunity to manage my own workstream. The directors and managers were clear about making sure I was able to handle the responsibility, and were there to support me throughout. I proved I was willing to go above and beyond my role as an associate. It was a rare opportunity, and it absolutely accelerated the growth of my career.
Q: Have your professional relationships influenced your career?
A: My relationships have influenced my career immensely. I have always felt as if I had multiple people in my corner, people who I work with on engagements and those who are formally aligned to be my coach and relationship partner. Even when I first started, my coaches and senior associates went out of their way to introduce me to everybody in the office.
Q: What do you enjoy in your free time?
A: I enjoy cooking healthy, playing intramural sports, volunteering, and exploring New York City.
