How digital is the Retail & Consumer industry?
Here’s what we learned from our Digital IQ respondents:
- The Retail & Consumer industry’s Digital IQ lags other industries. Only 46% of Retail & Consumer companies rated their organizations as having a strong or very strong Digital IQ, compared with an average rating of 63%.
- Digital delivery is a strategic priority. Retail & Consumer companies rate technology for the digital delivery of products and services as being in the top-five of strategic importance in the next three to five years.
- Retail & Consumer CEOs are less digital than those in other industries. Just 59% of Retail & Consumer companies say their CEOs are active champions of using digital technology to achieve strategy, compared with the average of 71%.
