Vin Colman is the firm’s US Assurance Leader and a member of the US Leadership Team. Vin also serves as a member of the Global Executive Assurance Leadership Team. He brings more than 30 years of experience to the role, most recently as the firm’s East Region Vice Chairman.
Vin joined PwC in 1982 and became partner in 1992. He served as PwC’s US Assurance Managing Partner where he oversaw the operations of the Assurance practice including transaction services, markets, industry sectors and human capital. He also previously served as the leader of PwC’s National Office, a role in which he had overall responsibility for formulating the firm’s positions on technical accounting, auditing and SEC reporting matters.
During his time with the firm, he has served large multinational companies in the areas of accounting, auditing, financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, and risk management.
Vin is a former member of the Center for Audit Quality’s Executive Committee and the Professional Practice Executive Committee of the AICPA, the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council, and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board’s Standing Advisory Group. He currently serves on the Ramapo College Board of Trustees and the St. John’s Tobin College of Business Advisory Board. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in Accounting from St. John’s University and is a Certified Public Accountant in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.
