Agnieszka Gajewska, PwC CEE Government & Public Sector Leader commented:
“I’m very pleased that PwC has been invited to serve as Strategic Partner to the Emerging Europe Awards. We work closely with clients and stakeholders right across Central and Eastern Europe to build trust and solve important problems. There are so many great people, organisations and initiatives that are putting our region on the map - and the Emerging Europe Awards will provide an important platform for giving them the recognition they deserve. We’re happy to be involved.”
The awards are organised by Emerging Europe in conjunction with strategic partners the UK Department for International Trade and the Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe, and will be held at the London headquarters of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on 22 June 2018.
Emerging Europe is a London-based think tank committed to boosting the social and economic development of 23 countries of Central and South Eastern Europe and the Caucasus and raising awareness about the region. The Emerging Europe Awards have been created to build on their mission of fostering economic and social growth in the region. The awards are a high-profile, prestigious programme to recognise success stories, leading projects and best practice from CEE, encouraging thought leadership and excellence across 23 countries.
The awards will acknowledge local authorities and businesses which have demonstrated excellence in three main areas: raising awareness, social progress and economic development. The juries judging the submitted projects - including PwC experts - have extensive experience across a range of sectors and are supported by a dedicated team.
