Andy Kuzich, Business Development Director of PwC Ukraine was elected deputy head of the Coordination Council of Seaports of Ukraine. The Council was created on March, 29 2013 in Odesa in order to enhance cooperation between councils of all ports, maintain the initial stages of investment projects on the concession conditions and observe the conditions of social protection of employees.
Prior to council creation the heads of state-run seaports of Ukraine, private companies that operate the port business, the leaders of trade unions, leading experts of international consulting agencies and law firms have signed a memorandum of partnership and cooperation. The signing of the memo aimed at the realization of the state strategy for development of seaports of Ukraine, the formation of the high-quality legal basis for the reformation of sea transport enterprises, the increase in competitiveness of the Ukrainian port complex on the international market, the creation of the conditions for inflow of private investment to the sea sector and the provision of high standards of living for the workers of the sector.
