Advancing women in mining and resources in Singapore 2016

With research indicating that at executive management levels, women only represent 11.48% of roles within the top 500 mining companies globally, there is a need to re-evaluate what more can be done to promote gender parity trends in the industry. 

In light of this, PwC Singapore partnered with Women in Mining and Resources (WIMAR) Singapore to carry out research on their members and their perceptions of the mining and resources industry in Singapore and selected employers. 

The report provides insights into the minds of the women in the industry in Singapore and suggests concrete steps that can be taken to promote gender parity in the industry in Singapore.
