Asia Pacific Tax Reporting and Strategy Leader, PwC Singapore

Allison is a tax partner in the Corporate Tax Advisory practice of PwC Singapore. She has over 26 years of international tax experience with extensive knowledge of business, regulatory and tax environments traversing Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas.

Allison started her career and held various roles with PwC in Los Angeles and Hong Kong in 1991 and 2000 respectively. Thereafter, she pursued her tax career with several multinational companies spanning across financial services, technology and transportation & logistics industries. In addition, she was instrumental in building world class tax teams in Asia Pacific and the US under her leadership. In her most recent role prior to joining PwC Singapore, she was the Global Head of Tax of a transportation company responsible for leading the efforts in tax planning and the execution of various notable merger and acquisition (“M&A”) transactions and structured finance solutions.

She is passionate about value creation in the areas of tax, treasury, financing and M&A projects as well as teaming up with legal counsels in high value tax controversy cases in Asia Pacific and the US achieving significant wins for the respective companies she worked for. In particular, in an M&A deal cycle, she is well respected in her ability in identifying critical risk issues in the pre-deal planning phase and leading the business unit leaders in implementing practical solutions in post-deal integration and maintenance phases.

Allison graduated from California State University, Northridge earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Accounting). She subsequently attained her Master in Taxation degree at the University of Southern California. She completed her CPA certification in the state of California, USA and became a member of the AICPA. Allison is also a regular panel speaker in various industry forums and conferences in Asia Pacific.
