PwC-SMU 4-Day Chief Financial Officer Program

Next programme dates: May 2023 (Exact dates to be announced)

Even before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the ongoing technology revolution was already causing landscape shifts and rising regulatory requirements in this increasingly digital world. In the post pandemic world now, organisations are facing accelerated pressures to get their house in order. To tackle this complex agenda, the entire CFO function, including risk management, compliance and mergers and acquisitions, need to be looked at and transformed holistically.

Developed with senior finance leaders in mind, the PwC-SMU Chief Financial Officer Masterclass includes modules which are relevant to finance professionals, such as: corporate governance, risk management, managing IT in an organisation, financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, and insights from practicing CFOs.

The programme also serves as a platform for senior finance professionals to exchange knowledge and experiences and understand and explore potential solutions to the challenges facing the finance function and the organisation.

Benefits and advantages of attending

In the recent PwC COVID-19 CFO Pulse Survey, 53% of CFOs said that they expect a decrease in revenue and/or profits of up to 25% as a result of the crisis. Although it is prudent to prepare for the worst, it is still not too late to look at driving your organisation’s productivity to increase cost savings, or potential deals that can transform your business strategy to drive growth.
