Deals and Corporate Finance Director, PwC Philippines
Cheryl expands the firm’s expertise with her extensive experience in advising both financial and strategic buyers (local and foreign) with acquisition and divestiture transactions. She assisted her buy-side clients with financial due diligence reviews in the identification of purchase price adjustments and post-closing acquisition issues.
Over the years, Cheryl assisted corporate clients in identifying and quantifying value drivers that increase shareholder value either in continuing operations or the disposition of entities. These companies include those engaged in food and beverage, healthcare, power and utilities, sugar, manufacturing, public works, real estate, agriculture, among others. Prior to joining the firm, her other professional experience includes working in a commercial bank where she was exposed to various banking issues and strategies. This experience gave her an opportunity to work on various assurance clients of the firm, such as financial services, investment houses and stockbrokerage companies.
Cheryl holds a Masters in Business Administration degree from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business. She also has units toward Bachelor of Laws from the Arellano University School of Law. Adding to her exposure, she finished management accounting course at the CMA Philippines. To further hone her expertise, she attended various training courses both locally and overseas.
