Razi Daureeawo is a barrister-at-law of Mauritius and a non-practising solicitor of England and Wales with over 15 years professional experience.
He heads PwC Legal (Mauritius) Ltd, an independent law firm and leads a specialist practice focused on restructuring and insolvency, taxation, corporate laws, and regulatory and compliance. Razi assists in both contentious and non-contentious matters. He regularly appears before tribunals and courts of Mauritius including the Supreme Court and also regularly appears before the COMESA Court of Justice.
Razi has also practised as a solicitor in the UK assisting UK multinational and national corporations including FTSE 100 companies. Razi has acted in matters before the tribunals and courts of the UK including the High Court and Supreme Court as well as in matters before the European Court of Justice.
Razi is also a regular speaker and author on insolvency and taxation.
