We are strengthening our Forensic team by recruiting highly motivated individuals for the position of Senior Associate. You will help our clients understand where they might have vulnerabilities and develop solutions to manage the risks involved. We prevent, respond to and remediate a wide range of business threats, risks and complex issues.
As a Senior Associate, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will be involved in delivering project work, assisting senior team members in developing new business and helping to grow the capabilities of our practice both locally and in the African region. This will provide you with travel opportunities that will widen your horizon.
Assisting clients to investigate, analyze and resolve potential crises that impact value, and/or providing forensic advisory services upfront to prevent economic issues from arising.
Being part of our project teams, undertaking data and evidence gathering, performing analysis and producing initial drafts of documentation and reports.
Developing your knowledge of Forensic Services technical skills and methodologies and applying this in your work.
Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients.
Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above.
Supporting senior team members in producing client proposals, marketing collateral and developing thought leadership.
Making a positive contribution to the team environment, coaching junior colleagues and displaying a commitment to excellent client service.
Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen.
Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues.
University graduate with a degree in law, business studies. CFE or CAMS certification would be an advantage.
At least 3 years’ working experience in a large professional services firm or financial services sector.
Strong logical reasoning, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
An articulate and confident communicator, both orally and written.
The ability to work independently with little supervision but integrate well into teams.
A strong desire to learn and willingness to share knowledge and coach others.
The ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Tableau and other data analytics tools
Experience of undertaking compliance reviews, forensic investigations etc.
