PwC's S.T.E.A.M. Academy
We are excited to announce our kids summer programme. In line with previous years, our programmes will focus on sharpening your kids’ S.T.E.A.M. skills and how can they be applied from a sustainability point of view. Our aim is to empower the next generation to think of innovative solutions on how we can solve our current socio environment issues with the technology and tools at hand.
We are running 2 different programmes, depending on the age. Both programmes offer an interesting mix of classes in Sustainability, Communication, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Design, Mathematics. A number of guest speakers experts in their field will also be joining us for some sessions.
During this programme will take the kids through a journey of critical and creative thinking with the aim to improve their surroundings, starting from the personal space in their home and progressing into the surrounding neighbourhood.
Together we will see how we can transform our surroundings through the help of data measurement and analysis, digital design, sustainability concepts, communications. A project will be developed across the weeks which will be showcased in the last week.

This programme builds around the concepts of sustainability and green economy. With the help of data and various technologies, we will explore how we can improve our carbon footprint, both at an individual level as well as on a wider scale. Kids will be working on a project from week to week which manifests in the last week and can continue to live on.
For this programme, we are happy to be collaborating with two of the most active NGOs on the island – BirdLife Malta and Majjistral Park o.b.o Din l-Art Helwa.
