Edgars Rinkis

Lawyer

Edgars is a lawyer at PwC Legal specialising in labour law and dispute resolution. Edgars has extensive experience in the application of labour law issues in contractual matters and in corporate law projects in both private and public sectors (including the implementation of good corporate governance principles and in various reorganisation procedures). As an expert in labour law, Edgars has participated in many litigation projects and advises on solving labour law issues on a daily basis, whilst also researching future aspects of employment.
In addition to labour issues, Edgars provides support to the office's attorneys in a wide range of legal proceedings, preparing various types of procedural documents and legal research within civil law and administrative law procedures.
Whilst working with various media issues, Edgars has developed a deep interest in the rights of media and journalists. As interest turned into practical experience, Edgars accumulated substantial knowledge in both media independence and media state aid matters.

Edgars has a master's degree at the Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia.
