In Africa, our CFR team works with companies and governments on international reorganisations, turn-arounds of under-performing companies, bankruptcy and other formal insolvency procedures. We help companies identify, design and implement mergers and acquisitions and group rationalisations, help them bid for entities being privatised and set up public-private partnerships. We also provide guidance and finance-raising support to private-sector developers of power, telecoms, transport, water, property and oil and gas projects.
In addition, the CFR team advises governments on privatising their state-owned enterprises, implementing public-private partnerships and helps companies and governments, and their lawyers, complete fraud and other forensic investigations and dispute resolutions.
PricewaterhouseCoopers offers our full range of corporate finance and recovery services to the Africa Central region through a dedicated Africa-based CFR team. To deliver our services, we combine in-country resources with other specialist members of our Africa-based team.
Our CFR team in Africa Central is led by Jack Ward who is supported by partners Nick Allen, Martin Whitehead, Adrian Dearing, Richard Wood and Naval Sood.
Our Business Recovery team provides comprehensive financial, economic and strategic advice to companies, governments and their development partners around the world.
