PwC's 2019 Asia Pacific Financial Services Tax Conference

Asia Tax Rising - a 3D perspective: Disruption, Digitisation and Diversification

8th October 2019

Asia is home to 60% of the world's population, with dynamic economies and thriving international financial hubs. As the economic centre of gravity continues to shift East, Asia's regional financial hubs have also risen in importance. At the same time, tax in Asia is playing a bigger role in business strategy, transformation, trade and capital flows.

The evolving tax policies from the international arena - the OECD, the EU, and the US - have thrown more complexity into the mix, while digitised business models, diversified investments and changing investor preferences have all disrupted the ways in which the industry and the tax function behave.

At our Conference, we will explore these ideas and their impact on the global financial services industry. This Conference brings together a diverse group of tax executives, such as COOs, CFOs, Finance & Tax Directors from the Financial Services Industry, and our global PwC financial services network to delve into the financial services industry developments, challenges, and opportunities.
