The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Philip Hammond, presented his first Autumn Statement to Parliament on 23 November 2016. This was the UK's first budget following a vote to leave the EU on 23 June 2016.
The PwC Channel Islands tax team, including Justin Woodhouse, partner, Debbie Payne, tax director and asset management specialist, Kerry Emblem, senior tax manager, and Kelly Tadier, senior tax manager, presented at the Autumn Statement - Tax Budget Briefing in Jersey on 30 November 2016. It was held to share recent updates following the changes announced during the Autumn Statement, as well as recent developments being seen on the international tax landscape that will affect Channel Island businesses.
