This March, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg initiated an international movement to encourage women to ‘lean in’ to their ambitions with the launch of her book Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead and non-profit foundation LeanIn.org. We’ve all been witness to the impact, for example the book has not just become a best seller and generated significant media coverage it has also got people talking. This includes us here at PwC: our women, our men, and our leaders.
In fact this July, PwC US Chairman Bob Moritz and Sheryl Sandberg had a candid conversation about her best-selling book. They spent an hour discussing the messages of the book, why so few women have ascended to top leadership, what role men should play, and how companies can -- and must -- lean in too!
