Turning our people’s ideas into innovative solutions that solve important problems
At PwC, innovation is fuelled by our people and our creativity, focused on spotting and realising opportunities to use advanced technologies to build stronger societies.
The Global Innovation Challenge, led by PwC New Ventures, identifies ideas with the greatest potential for solving important problems. Our people's skills combined with emerging technology showcases and tests how they generate and explore ideas. Through a global call to action for thousands of our people we uncover, test and showcase early stage investment solutions and services.
Now in its seventh year, the Global Innovation Challenge gives everyone within PwC a chance to pursue a common goal: create cutting-edge solutions that solve problems for our clients and for society as a whole. It taps into and recognises the outstanding creativity of our people across the globe.
The inspiring nature of this goal saw our 2019 Challenge set several new records. We received 273 entries—more than double the entries in 2018—from over 4,300 PwC innovators located across 36 countries and within all areas of PwC's business.
