January 30, 2018 – PwC was recognized at the KLAS awards, taking home the Best in KLAS award for Extended Business Office (VBO) and named a Category Leader for Clinical Documentation Improvement Services (CDI) Services.
The Best in KLAS designation is reserved for vendor solutions that lead the software and services market segments with the broadest operational and clinical impact on healthcare organizations. These awards are based directly on client feedback and satisfaction. The title of 2018 Best in KLAS is recognition of the outstanding efforts to help healthcare professionals deliver better patient care.
“Best in KLAS is more than a ranking. It is a recognition of vendors committed to delivering superior solutions," said Adam Gale, President of KLAS. "It gives voice to thousands of providers who are demanding better performance, usability and interoperability in healthcare technology.”
On winning the award, Dan Garrett, Global Health Industries Technology Leader, commented, “We are honoured to receive these accolades for our commitment to the evolving healthcare field. The recognition from KLAS, based on feedback from healthcare providers themselves, is important because it comes directly from those impacted by our work and exemplifies the forward momentum of PwC’s efforts to support the improvement of health and well-being around the world.”
This is the fifth time PwC has been recognized with a KLAS award. The firm was previously awarded the Best in KLAS award for Extended Business office in 2011, 2014 and 2017 as well as being consistently named Category Leader for CDI for the previous three years running. KLAS will honour the firm at their annual celebration at HIMSS, to be held the evening of March 5.
