PwC Named Among Digital Experience Agencies In Europe

PwC was named as a digital experience (DX) agency in Europe by Forrester in their overview of 36 Digital Experience Agencies, Europe, Q3 2018.

The report states that “no company can deliver digital experience (DX) alone,” noting that “92% of DX decision makers choose to work with partners.” Forrester defines DX agencies as: Partners that can help companies design, build, and manage digital customer experiences in the context of their digital business transformation.

Forrester outlines the impetus for their study, “You can use digital experience agencies to design, build, and manage digital customer experiences. But to access these benefits, you'll first have to select from a diverse set of partners — agencies that vary by size, functionality, geography, and vertical market focus. Application development and delivery professionals (AD&D) should use this report to understand the value they can expect from a digital experience agency and select agencies based on approach and capability."

Forrester notes that firms differentiate by helping AD&D pros:

  • Bringing a brand to life through the experience.
  • Transforming the business.
  • Enhancing strategy and innovation capabilities.

Forrester segmented the vendors in this market into three categories, based on estimated digital experience revenue generated with companies headquartered in Western Europe.

PwC was listed under Midsize Digital Experience agencies in Europe which is defined as the DX business generating revenues between €125>€400 million.

Per the report, PwC’s primary business function in DX is business services. Their primary geographic presence in Europe was noted as being in UK, Germany, and Italy. Within Europe, PwC has recently acquired the following DX service providers: Nealite (France), POND (Sweden), iBrows  (Switzerland).
