Chris is a partner in PwC Canada’s Accounting Advisory Services practice. He specializes in accounting for financial instruments and spends the majority of his time working with clients in financial services. He advises his clients on complex accounting issues including new accounting standard implementation, GAAP conversions and transactions.

Chris is a member of PwC’s global financial instruments team and has a decade of experience as a consultant in PwC’s National and Global Accounting Consulting Services practice responsible for firm-wide technical interpretation and application of accounting standards under Canadian GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS. Over the years, he has collaborated with standard setters and regulators on the development and application of accounting standards and has authored and contributed to publications and various accounting topics.

Chris is a qualified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds a Master of Management and Professional Accounting (MMPA) degree from the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University.
