The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the lives of everyone. First and foremost, it is a human tragedy and our thoughts are with those who lost loved ones and who are fighting the aftermath of the disease.
While the pandemic forced us apart physically, it was also a time of coming together to support each other, our families and friends, our stakeholders and the communities in which we live and work. Our thanks go out to the heroes of the pandemic, the medical staff and front line workers across the world who worked and, continue to work, tirelessly and selflessly to keep us safe and well.
At PwC, we also tried to play our part in the fight against the pandemic through volunteering, by providing pro bono support and through partnerships with clients, governments and civil society organisations. We are proud of how our people around the world responded in some very difficult times and we want to share some stories with you about what we did to help each other, help our clients and help our communities.
Read some of the reflections of our colleagues on the support they gave and received in three key areas:
supporting our people at this very challenging time
supporting our clients and stakeholders
giving time and resources to the communities where we live and work
