Michalis Samiotakis, Senior Manager in Technology Consulting Services has more than 11 years of IT related experience providing services in the fields of Technology Governance, CyberSecurity, Risk and Compliance, helping clients to gain value from their investments in IT and Security. He has been a member of a number of project teams that have executed some of the firm’s largest and most complex IT Governance and Information & Business Security Projects. He has worked with a wide range of major companies and within highly regulated environments; such as the telecom and the financial sector, helping clients assess, design and implement IT controls and processes to reduce risk and enhance operations.
Michalis is currently the President of the Board of Directors for the Greek Chapter of the Information Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and an active member of the International Standard for Information Security (ISC)2 Consortium since 2007. He holds a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering - Computer Science and a master's in Information Security & Computer Crime from the University of Glamorgan - UK. He also holds a second master's in "Management of Business, Innovation and Technology" from Athens Information Technology Center of Research and Graduate Education. He is Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, COBIT 5 Certified Trainer and certified in IT Service Management (ITIL Accreditor).
