Raman Chitkara is the Global Technology Industry Leader and a partner in Silicon Valley office of PwC. He has held a variety of prominent leadership roles at PwC. He was admitted to the partnership in 1994 and was later appointed as the US semiconductor leader in 1997 before earning the position of global semiconductor leader in 2000 and global technology leader in 2008. Raman has served on a number of top tier multi-national technology accounts.
Raman brings to his clients a broad and deep insight into the natural cycles found in the technology markets around the world as well as time-tested experience and knowledge of how to adjust strategy and change course in response to market peaks and valleys.
Raman has been associated with several white papers on issues impacting the semiconductor industry, including the in-depth annual report, China's impact on the semiconductor industry, now in its sixth year. He has been a speaker on topics relating to corporate governance, unified global accounting standards, fair value accounting, employee stock compensation, business combinations and major tech industry developments at Stanford Law School Directors' College, The SEC Institute, and the Practising Law Institute in addition to numerous other industry conferences, roundtables and forums.
