PwC Estonia DEALS: key projects in 2020

We advised the owners of Tradehouse, a retail and wholesale seller of Estonian cosmetics in a major deal, whereby they sold the majority shareholding in their company to BaltCap, a firm based on private equity and venture capital. We introduced the buyer and the seller and assisted the deal by providing both financial and legal advice, performing vendor tax due diligence, putting together the financial fact book and advising the client on tax and legal issues related to restructuring the company.

We advised UP Invest, an investment company and owner of Apollo Cinema, on acquiring the Forum Cinemas’ movie theater businesses in the Baltics. A contribution to the deal was given by business and tax consultants from PwC Estonia, PwC Latvia and PwC Lithuania, as they performed tax and financial due diligence of the Forum Cinemas’ movie theater businesses.

PwC’s advisory team assisted Wihuri OÜ in their acquisition of Baltic Agro Machinery by performing their financial and tax due diligence.

PwC was elected by LHV Varahaldus to be their valuation advisory partner.

PwC’s advisory team performed a preliminary economic and financial analysis for constructing a new building in the framework of a Public Private Partnership for the Police and Border Guard Board and Ministry of the Interior

PwC Estonia’s and PwC Lithuania’s deals teams conducted a valuation of a global VPN service provider.

In addition to the major projects described above, PwC’s advisory team was engaged in approximately 80 other projects, which included diligence services, valuations, financial modelling, lead project management services, advice on restructuring, dispute resolutions and in many other areas.
