CIPD Certificate in Human Resource Practice (CHRP)

Who is the programme for?

The programme is recommended for junior HRs, people with an interest in the HR area and those who work as HR support and want to develop their knowledge and skills. This level of CIPD programme will help those who want to support their career in HR by getting a professional qualification.


 Programme description

By completing of CIPD Foundation Certificate in HR Practice, you will gain strong basics in all areas of HR. It will help you to develop key HR skills – you will be able to work more effectively as well as with greater confidence and your professional competences will grow. The program is delivered in English. It consists of 9 teaching days in face-to-face workshops and online webinars. During the course, you will go through case studies, write essays or reports and do practical exercises with feedback. After successful completing the CHRP course, you will receive the CIPD Certificate.

Developing Yourself as an Effective Human Resources Practitioner
  • Understand the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be an effective HR practitioner, whether the role is generalist or specialist.
  • Learn how to deliver timely and effective HR services to meet organisation’s needs.
  • Be able to reflect on own practice and development needs and maintain a plan for personal development.
     
Understanding Organisations and the Role of HR
  • Understand the purpose of an organisation and its environment.
  • Understand the structure, culture and function of an organisation.
  • Understand the role of HR operations within an organisation and how HR activities can support the organisation.
Managing, Recording, Analysing and Using HR Information
  • Understand what data needs to be collected to support HR practices (data accuracy), data management in all areas of HR.
  • Learn how HR data should be recorded, managed and stored (manually or electronically) and its legal implications.
  • Be able to interpret and analyse HR information and present findings clearly and accurately to support decision making.
Preparing and Designing Learning and Development Activities
  • Understand the factors that can influence the design of learning and development activities.
  • Understand the different methods and resources to support learning and development activities and the relevant merits of each.
  • Know how to design learning and development activities.
     
Supporting Change within Organisation
  • Identify the main factors that must be considered in the change process and understand why the organisation needs to change – internal and external factors.
  • Understand the impact of change on employees and the role of HR, analyse how people respond to change.
  • Explore different ways of managing change.
Resourcing Talent
  • Introduction to the resourcing and talent planning process, understanding the factors that affect an organisation’s talent planning, recruitment and selection policy.
  • Identify appropriate recruitment and selection methods and benefits of attracting a diverse workforce.
  • Writing job descriptions, job advertisement process, shortlisting, face-to-face or telephone interviews, job offers and rejection letters.
  • Good practice in employee induction and retention.
     
Supporting Good Practice in Performance and Reward Management
  • Understand how motivational theories and associated tools can be used and can have a positive impact on the business objectives.
  • Good practice related to performance management reviews and the role of financial and non-financial benefits, determinants of reward decisions.
  • Learn how to conduct and reflect upon a performance review.

Price: CZK 58,000 + VAT

 

The price of the programme includes tuition and all study materials.

The price, on the other hand, does not include CIPD fees: Admission fee 40 GBP + Annual subscription fee 95 GBP in the first year of study and 95 GBP in the second year until the CIPD certificate is granted.

Vanda Šinková has extensive experience in HR management. Currently, she is the leader of CIPD Centre of Excellence for the PwC Academies in CEE, and is delivering CIPD qualifications in several CEE countries.
